ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers) is a professional organization whose members are professional belly dance teachers and/or performers from the central region of North Carolina. ACCMED’s goals include promoting the art of Middle Eastern dance in our local communities and the region at large, providing a networking and support system for local teachers and belly dance professionals, developing and modeling a high ethical standard in all our activites, performing community outreach and service, educating our greater community about the beauty and grace of Middle Eastern dance, and serving as the premier Middle Eastern dance resource for the public as well as students and professional belly dancers in central North Carolina.
