ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers) is a professional organization whose members are professional belly dance teachers and/or performers from the central region of North Carolina

The mission of ACCMED is to promote the art of Middle Eastern dance in the local communities and region at large by:

- Providing a networking and support system for local teachers and belly dance professionals
- Developing and modeling a high ethical standard in all of its activities
- Educating the community about the beauty and grace of Middle Eastern dance.
- Serving as the premier Middle Eastern dance resource for the public as well as  students and professional belly dancers in central North Carolina.

For Prospective Members:

Interested in becoming a member? Please contact our ACCMED  secretary, Heather Murphy at hewmurph@gmail.com. You will be sent a 6-question questionnaire and ACCMED  policies and procedures. Simply reply to the email with your responses and your questionnaire will be reviewed by our membership.  You will be notified within a few days about the status of your application.

For Members:

Greetings, ACCMED members! It is now time to pay your annual dues! Dues are $20 and must be received no later than March 1, 2011.

Don’t forget that all of our policies, procedures, code of ethics, forms, etc. are available to our members at our Yahoo group for your reference whenever you have any questions regarding ACCMED procedures, etc.
