Welcome to ACCMED, the premier Middle Eastern Dance resource for Central North Carolina. ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers) is a professional organization whose members are local professional belly dance teachers and/or performers.
ACCMED’s mission is to promote the art of Middle Eastern dance in the local communities and region at large by providing a networking and support system for local teachers and belly dance professionals, developing and modeling a high ethical standard in all of its activities, performing community outreach and service activities, and educating the community about the beauty and grace of Middle Eastern dance.
Carolina Casbah, ACCMED’S first full-production performance, was a rousing success!! Many thanks to all of our beautiful dancers, talented musicians, tireless volunteers as well as our fantastic audience. We couldn’t have done it without you.
