Welcome to ACCMED, the premier Middle Eastern Dance resource for Central North Carolina. ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers) is a professional organization whose members are local professional belly dance teachers and/or performers.
ACCMED’s mission is to promote the art of Middle Eastern dance in the local communities and region at large by providing a networking and support system for local teachers and belly dance professionals, developing and modeling a high ethical standard in all of its activities, performing community outreach and service activities, and educating the community about the beauty and grace of Middle Eastern dance.

Time: Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; performances start at 7:30 p.m.
Place: The ArtsCenter, 300 East Main Street, Carrboro, NC
Journey with us along the Silk Road for an evening that will delight your senses with enchanting dancing,
dazzling costumes and captivating rhythms - all in a beautiful theater setting! This gala full production performance will feature the phenomenal talents of professional Middle Eastern dancers and musicians from throughout central North Carolina. Performances will range from folkloric to funky, from tribal to cabaret! Live music provided by our special guests, the Lost Nomads. Light refreshments will be served.

Adult Guest (ages 12+) $15
Child guest (ages 5-11) $5
