Welcome to ACCMED, the premier Middle Eastern Dance resource for Central North Carolina. ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers) is a professional organization whose members are local professional belly dance teachers and/or performers.

ACCMED’s mission is to promote the art of Middle Eastern dance in the local communities and region at large by providing a networking and support system for local teachers and belly dance professionals, developing and modeling a high ethical standard in all of its activities, and educating the community about the beauty and grace of Middle Eastern dance.
